He played his first games with the team in 2020-21 where he played 38 total games which is respectable for his first season, especially considering how it was COVID-shortened. The next season was similar with 58 total games and even better scoring numbers.
Last year was a terrible year for Stanley. He only got into 19 games with the Jets and it was a sharp decline from his 2021-22 campaign and has fans worried. He got a one-year prove-it contract from the Jets this offseason but if he does not turn around, his desired career in Winnipeg may come to an end.
