The Winnipeg Jets are a team that has been flying a bit under the radar this season. Halfway through November the team holds a respectable 8-5-2 record, good for 3rd place in a relatively strong Central Division. Now they may be getting some reinforcements.

Winnipeg Jets Forward Vilardi Close To Returning From Injury

Gabe Vilardi has not played since October 17th when he sustained a lower-body injury against his former team, the LA Kings. He technically has played in three games this year, recording just one assist, but he only played a couple of shifts son the 17th before the injury took him out of the game. Luckily, he's made a lot of progress in recovery recently as he has been seen practicing with the team.

The Jets have done fine without him, but they can potentially take another step upon his return. Today, the team hinted on X that his return may be right around the corner.

Vilardi 🔜 👀

The Jets play their next game tomorrow against the Buffalo Sabres. If Vilardi is not ready to return for that one he will get another chance on Saturday against the Coyotes as the team plays on back-to-back nights.
