It's no secret that hockey culture has some massive issues that need to be addressed. It can oftentimes be toxic to both fans and players alike, and a new report has just come out alleging the mistreatment of a former top draft pick.
Martin Kaut was once a highly touted draft pick of the Colorado Avalanche, and while it hasn't been a smooth ride to where he is now, he's still a good player. He was traded at this year's trade deadline to San Jose, where he spent the remainder of his season split between the NHL and with their AHL club, the San Jose Barracuda.
