Social media can be a space to spread positivity among loved ones. Nonetheless, it is unfortunately also used as a platform to spread harm and hostility, veiled as "humor."
Recently, such an incident transpired involving a fan of the Hurricanes, who took to Twitter to share a "joke," threatening the life of Radko Gudas, defenseman for the Panthers.
While some may dismiss this as a twisted joke, it seems likely that legal measures will be pursued, and the individual behind these threats will be apprehended.
