Only days after the announcement, the Bruins made a big decision about their captain.

Boston Honors Bergeron

In response to a question about retiring Bergeron's number, Cam Neely, the President of the Bruins, gave a clear answer:

«It's a no-brainer.»

What an incredibly fitting tribute to Bergeron!

His impact on the NHL and the city of Boston has left a lasting legacy.

Though his presence on the ice will be missed, a part of him will forever reside in the TD Garden's rafters.
