Terrible news has come down tonight for one of Edmonton's top prospects.

Oilers Top Prospect Suffers Season Ending Injury



The Edmonton Oilers got some crushing news tonight. Top defensive prospect Beau Akey has suffered a season ending shoulder injury.

Edmonton Oilers defence prospect Beau Akey will be having season ending shoulder surgery soon. He'll find out when next week. A blow for the OHL's Barrie Colts but he'll be ready for next season.




Akey had 9 points in 14 OHL games before coming down with this injury. After his rehab is done he will look to come back even stronger next season.
