BREAKING: New Leafs Forward Sidelined Long-Term With Concussion

Mark Masters reported, and Sheldon Keefe confirmed today that Dylan Gambrell suffered a concussion in yesterday's practice. As of this moment, there is no timeline for his return.

Gambrell was a free agent signing this offseason who was likely only ever going to make the Leafs in a fourth line role. Now his season could be in jeopardy as he is very likely to lose his potential spot in the line up to someone who can remain healthy for the rest of preseason.

That being said, he did have some nice moments in the preseason action he did see, including this play.

Gambrell has split time between the NHL and AHL in recent years, but managed to get into 60 games with the Sens last season, putting up ten points.
