This morning we got a major update on where legal proceedings are heading for Milan Lucic. According to multiple sources he is set to be arraigned on Monday.
#NHLBruins forward Milan Lucic will be arraigned in court Monday. There are reports from WBZ with alleged details. We will wait to see when confirmed details present themselves. Lucic is under contract for just this season with a $1 million cap hit. The Bruins pay him $1 million plus a $500,000 bonus. The 35-year-old is currently on a leave of absence.
Lucic is scheduled to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on Monday.
While this is just a small step in the legal process for Milan it could provide a more substantial update on his NHL career. Depending on the length of this process his career could be finished.
With Lucic already at age 35 he doesn't have many playing days left. If this arrest is as serious as it has been reported he could be done in the NHL for good.
