The Winnipeg Jets have placed five players on waivers with the intention of having them join the Manitoba Moose.

Murat Ates of The Athletic, a Jets reporter, has revealed that the Winnipeg Jets have placed five players on waivers.

Winnipeg has placed Jansen Harkins, Dominic Toninato, Jeff Malott, Kristian Reichel, and Ashton Sautner on waivers for the purposes of assigning them to the Moose.

Of these players, Harkins played in 22 games with the Jets last year, Toninato played in five games, and Reichel played in two games for the Jets.

Sautner and Malott did not play in any games with the Jets last year.

Now Kevin Cheveldayoff will hold his breath that none of these players get claimed.
