BREAKING: Jets Lock Up Gabe Vilardi

The Winnipeg Jets brokered a massive offseason trade with the LA Kings three weeks ago that saw Pierre-Luc Dubois head to LA for a king's ransom. Part of the return package was forward Gabe Vilardi.

Vilardi, the 11th pick in the 2017 draft, had a breakout year last year posting 23 goals and 41 points in 63 games with the Kings.

It was announced today that he signed a contract with the Winnipeg Jets locking him up for two more years.

Once the deal is up, Vilardi will still be an RFA and will likely sign a massive contract if he continues to develop in a larger role in Winnipeg.
