It's been a wild 24 hours in the Alex Galchenyuk saga, and we now have some new information regarding the developing story. The mugshot of the former Coyotes forward has now been released to the public.

Galchenyuk's Mugshot Is Revealed

Ford Hatchett of ABC15 Pheonix released Galchenyuk's mugshot on Twitter today. The mugshot was supplied by the Scottsdale Police Department and was likely taken days ago.

"Here is the mugshot of Alex Galchenyuk who was arrested Sunday in Scottsdale.

The 3rd overall pick in the 2012 NHL Draft was booked under his legal name (Alexander Galtcheniouk) and held in custody on six charges including hit and run and resisting arrest."

While it's been some days since the arrest took place, it's safe to assume that Galchenyuk is still in police custody, as the former 3rd overall pick awaits trial. No details have been released at this time regarding a potential court date for Galchenyuk, or how many years in prison he may be facing.

It's clear that something is very wrong with Galchenyuk, and we're hoping that he's able to get proper help and recover from whatever he is going through.
